Oyo Instruments
Oyo’s line of Liberator XE wide-format thermal imagesetters includes five models to accommodate media widths of 18, 28.5, 36, 42, 54 in. (457, 724, 914, 1067, and 1372 mm). The systems support imaging speeds up to 6 in./min (152 mm/min) and resolutions up to 1200 dpi. Each features closed-loop-registration control, multilevel pulsing, Oyo’s Enhanced Nib Management system, automatic media cutter, and Harlequin ScriptWorks RIP Management System (PC or Mac). Oyo says the devices support registration accuracy of ±0.01%. Liberator XE imagesetters are designed to process Oyo’s chemistry-free, dry-imaging ThermoImpression film.
