Integration Technology

The LEDZero Pincure system from Integration Technology (www.uvintegration.com) is designed to initiate a photochemical reaction with a degree of precision not previously possible with bulb technology. The air-cooled curing system, engineered for use with high-resolution inkjet print engines, uses a UV-LED lamp head that consumes 20 W of electrical energy and weighs 125 g/head. The system’s standard 3.15-in. (80-mm) curing array is scalable by multiples of 3.15 in. to suit specific applications. One power supply can accommodate up to eight curing heads. According to Integration Technology, the high intensity of the LEDZero Pincure ensures that each ink droplet is frozen on the media as it is jetted, and each array features infinitely variable output, thereby allowing it to be tuned to the individual color or type of ink being jetted.
