Spartanics (www.spartanics.com) introduces its Finecut Combination Web and Sheet-Fed Laser Diecutting Machine, designed to overcome the limitations of traditional diecutting operations. Sheet-fed or coil-fed jobs can be interchanged, and Spartanics says any combination of cutting and marking details can be made in one cycle, including kiss-cutting, through-cutting, consecutive numbering, personalizing, perforating, creasing, and more. The company also says that single-source laser design, combined with the sophisticated software behind Finecut technology, delivers defect-free cutting and ability to seamlessly stitch images together for unlimited X-direction part dimensions. The diecutting machine offers web speeds up to 410 ft/min (125 m/min) with single-source lasers, automatic optimization of cutting sequences, and other features for tool-free cutting.
