The Digicon Series 2 label-converting line from A B Graphic Intl (www.abgint.com) is a modular system that features automated pre-positioning of printing and converting units, semi-rotary web motion, servo-driven web-tension control, and more. Its functionality can be expanded with the addition of modules that support semi-rotary hot stamping, semi-rotary embossing, overlaminating, semi-rotary screen printing, sheet/die/through cutting, rotary flexo, inspection, and direct interface to digital imaging equipment. The system comes standard with an unwind unit, electronic web guide, infeed/mid/outfeed dancers, air-cooled UV curing, waste-matrix stripping station, rewind unit, and more. Digicon Series 2 is controlled via touchscreen interface.
