Epson's SurePress L-4033AW has seven colors
The new SurePress L-4033AW from Epson (www.epson.com) is a seven-color inkjet printer for label produciton. Its seven-color (CMYKOG+W) SurePress AQ inkset can be printed first or last, for solid, opaque white printing on materials such as gloss, semi-gloss, matte, clear film,and metallic substrates. According to Epson, the water-based, resin-coating pigment inks provide superior adhesion and reproduce a wide range of colors. The press supports rolls form 3.15-13-in. wide (80-330-mm), and Epon says it an accommodate short-run jobs at speeds up to 16 ft/min (4.8 m/min).
