Pad Print Machinery of Vermont (PPMOV) offers customization
Pad Print Machinery of Vermont (PPMOV) announces that its standard pad printers can be adapted to other printing applications by adding custom automation, multiple color configurations, conveyor systems, custom software, and more. One example, a KP08 multicolor pad printer that was customized to print onto coins, was equipped with a camera and a single holder mounted on a 360° rotating fixture. Its linear shuttle conveyor positions the coin under the camera and, using a programmed template guide, centers the coin to the correct print position. The coin then travels under each of the five color pads for printing. The KP08 is operated via a PC touchscreen and can be controlled remotely. Multiple printing programs can be stored and recalled at any time. The printer also has an automatic pad-cleaning device and can be programmed during any time of the print cycle.
